: the contact stated there was NHTSA recall campaign 00V359002 concerning the suspension, however, the recall did not correct the problem. The dealer was contacted, and they explained the recall repairs had already been completed once. The drivers side window regulator and motor needed to be replaced, the engine overheated numerous times. The air conditioner did not work.. updated 01/19/06.

A Jaguar 2000 was purchased on Dec 2003. It had 39000 miles. I have only put on 4000 miles on this car and the ball joint broke the other day and I was almost killed. The car was towed to a local foreign auto place and Jaguar refuses to repair the ball joint. Claiming they will only take the claim from a registered Jaguar dealer. So the car was towed today to momentum Jaguar on the sw freeway and I was told that the ball joint was replaced on the drivers side in April 2001 and it broke again"??in less that 43000 miles we have had 2 defective ball joints?" and the passenger side is defective as well and needs to be changed!! this is a serious defect and Jaguar is disclaiming any and all responsibility...it also has A/C problems and electrical problems. The sensors do not work and were replaced last year. The window regulators broke and were charged to me.. the rear passenger side of the car is falling off....it is always overheating. It is unbelievable and I only drove it 4000 miles in the last 2 years that I own it!!!!!!surely this is a lemon in the first degree!!!!

Consumer states the vehicle is equipped with an air conditioning system that allows him to choose the direction of the air flow, however if the air conditioner is directed to the windshield, the cooler air hitting the windshield forces the humid air to condense on the outside of the windshield making it difficult to see.
