The Whole upper control arm came off due to the recall on the right upper suspension in the front...I reported this when it happened may 2022 and no response or help from the jaguar company by that time I could not afford to get it out of impound because I was in the parking lot of the government post office right by the Evansville police station

I was pulling into a stall at the treasure coast mall when we heard a loud thud when I got out to see what it was I seem that the tire was leaning in and pushed under the fender.I then had to call a tow truck and found out later that the left front ball joint completely snapped off and the right side was badly worn and loose and also had to be replaced. I just hate to think what would happen if that would have happend on the highway me and my wife were very shaken up. The car only has 47000 + which seems really strange for this to happen.

I have a 2000 Jaguar S-type that was recalled for front control arm and lower ball joints back in November of 2000. However when I took it to the Jaguar dealer to get replaced because mine is defective the dealer told me my VIN# was not included in the recall. Is there a specific reasoning behind having certain VIN#'s recalled and not others? I would really appreciate if my VIN can also be included because per the dealer my car is in serious jeopardy of malfunctioning while I'm driving which could end in an accident that can cause bodily harm up to and including death. Can you please respond to my email regarding this issue.

The contact owns a 2000 Jaguar S-type. While driving 65 mph, the contact felt that the steering was out of balance. She pulled into a parking lot and noticed that the front passenger side ball joint detached from the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to a repair garage and the failure was diagnosed as the ball joint stud. The manufacturer stated that there was no recall for the 2000 Jaguar S-type ball joint. The failure and current mileages were 104,000.
