This repair cost is extremely ridiculous and Jaguar should fix this problem for free. This issue can cause your car to lose control and can kill someone. I have to drive my kids each day in this car to school, etc. I just paid $1,140 to replace ac hoses and now this. This is a lemon. I expect Jaguar to for once step up here and fix this issue, regardless of the VIN number. The car has the same problem as the recall. Look at the complaints on this board along. My car was manufactured in July 2000 so its in the batch range of the issue.
