(1) after several months subsequent to purchase, the cabin smelled of gasoline. Jaguar schererville, Indiana diagnosed as an improper gas cap fitting. 2) the smell continues and Jaguar has now diagnosed the issue as a hole in the gas tank. (3) Jaguar, while recognizing that several vehicles have had this defect, refuses to either repair the gas tank as a warranty item, or recall the gas tank as defective and a public safety concern. Dates are approximate and failures are continuing in nature. As well, the fuel system is now failing and causing substantial operational difficulties in driving the vehicle and merging into traffic.
