I was involved in what ultimately could have been a catastrophic accident while driving my 2004 Jaguar X-type. I was driving through an intersection at about 20 mph, when a 2006 Chevy Impala hit me doing about 50 mph. The Impala slammed into my right front quarter panel and passenger door. Hitting me so hard my car tilted up into the air. (I thought I was going to roll, ) when my car landed back on all four wheels, I was hit again in the right rear quarter panel. I was then pushed into a telephone pole. Almost dead center of my steering wheel. Needless to say, both cars were totaled due to massive damage. The only air bag that deployed was the passenger dash airbag. I was slammed into the steering wheel twice. The drivers airbag did not deploy. Neither did the passenger side airbag, despite being hit twice on the passenger side. If I had been an elderly or less physically fit person I very possibly could have been killed. I called Jaguar for an explanation, and was repeatedly blown off.
