Hello I just bought a car recently and it is a 2010 Jaguar Xf built in June 2009. As I drove it off the lot I had a problem with the car and realized recently that it is a power steering problem. I searched online for any recalls and there was a recall for any vehicles made in June 2009 and my car was made in June 2009. It does not say in the Jaguar system that my specific vehicle was recalled. However I feel that my vehicle should have been recalled as it was something that may have been missed. I find it very coincidental that my vehicle is having an exact same problem as the one that was recalled and the recall date is for the date that my vehicle was built. I haven't driven the vehicle since I bought it because it is a safety issue and I will be towing it into a dealership shop tomorrow. And regardless of if it is a major problem or a minor problem, its a same problem as the ones that were recalled. It said possibilities of not getting this fixed is fire under the hood and I definitely don't want that nor for any other Jaguar Xf 2010 drivers out there. This is the recall number I found online: 11V168000.
