My 2010 Jaguar sports car went into "high rev." when the car was started in "park". The engine immediately slowed down to normal idling speed. I then put the car in "drive" and the car accelerated at full power immediately. After this incident which included extensive bumper damage I was able to stop the car, restart it at the normal idling speed and drive the car home. I turned the car on and off 20 times and the issue did not happen again. The "high rev." incident happened two days before but when I shifted into reverse to back out of the garage the engine acted normally. Have any other Jaguar owners had this problem?
