AMC 20 axle failure AMC 20 axle failure

All Jeeps with the AMC 20 rear end will fail. The axle broke on mine while driving down a mountain road into town. The tire and wheel assembly broke off, tore out the brake lines, and down the vehicle went. The original axle is two piece. An axle pressed into a hub. The axle broke at the insertion point. Replaced both axles with single piece Moser axles. Jeep still owes me $3,000.00 for all my costs.
