Recently, while driving at low speeds the vehicle's drivetrain has a noticable clunking noise. The "clunk" sounds like it is part of a spinning mechanism and there is noticable feedback in the accelerator pedal.
It happens sporadically and only at low speeds. The feedback is so bad at times that I pull off the road and turn off the car, hoping it will be gone when I start it up again.
I had a mechanic look at the problem and his best guess was a slipping U-Joint or something to do with the hotchkiss drive. He said if it happened consistently to bring it back, but at this point it wasn't dangerous to the car.
