My windows worked intermittently. Sometimes they would work, sometimes not. Sometimes I would open the door and I could get windows to close. It was strange. And frustrating. After researching common problems on the web, I wondered if it was a grounding problem. Sure enough. The solution was quite simple. The pack of wires running from the driver's door to the body was where the broken ground was. I cut open the rubber casing, found the broken wire, pulled enough slack out and reconnected the wires. In fact, multiple wires in that pack had cracked casings, although no other breaks that I could see. So I wrapped most of the wires individually with some electrical tape just as a safeguard. Haven't had a problem since then, about 15,000 miles ago and 1-2 years.

only drivers panels window switches work. Others work every once in a while. Also A/C electrical not functioning properly, compressor dose not get power. Cruise control dose not work. thinking all these problems could be related, possibly ground problem?

The passenger window has a mind of its own! It works sometimes and not others but it always works with the drivers controls.

At random times the window controls for all passengers in the vehicle except for the driver stop working. The driver still has control over all 4 windows, but for some reason all other controls "lock" until the car is restarted or until the driver clicks and unclicks the "Window Lock" button numerous times.
