Safety belt retractors do not function consistently, belts hang in door opening and become caught in the latch/strike assembly when the doors are closed. This causes damage to the belt, requiring replacement. I have owned several Chrysler products (Dodge dart, Plymouth reliant, 2 Cherokee and other) and all have exhibited this problem.

The consumer felt that the rear seat belts were not safe to use. The shoulder belt is mounted so far back is practically wraps around your neck.
