The dealership said the recalls wouldnt affect my vehicle BUT they had to replace the TCM. The TCM needed to be reprogrammed but I ending pay for a whole TCM. I don't think this is fair and I want to know how I can get Mopar to pay for it.

Transmission shifted from D to N by its self as I was driving. Luckily hadn-??t gotten on the highway yet. A minute later I would have been in the highway when it did it. It said -??shift to p-?? the. It said to service transmission and a number of other things then would not shift after I FINALLY got it to engage. This is the second or third time this has happened! When going around a bend on a highway doing highway speed if I hit a bump I get a very bad vibration in the steering wheel and it makes the car swerve to the point of possibly wrecking. Have taken it to dealership (Jeff Wyler Batavia OH) for the same issue numerous times and they say they can-??t find anything every time but there is clearly something wrong with it! I used to stand behind Jeep. I no longer can. Within a year of me owning it I-??ve replaced Oil cooler gasket, timing gasket, rear diff gasket, and rear axle seal. It had only 80k miles when I had to replace all of this! Now to see what the hell is going on with it now! DO NOT BUY A MOPAR VEHICLE! I HIGHLY SUGGEST HONDA, HYUNDAI, or TOYOTA!

Error codes U1120, U1110, and U0121 all appeared at the same time. Car became undriveable while driving on the highway. Had to pull over with lost power and stop on the side of the highway. Tried to get the car started again and upon reignition the car cycled between air bag and transmission warnings. The car could not drive without reaching 7000+ RPMS at 5 mph. Ended up deserting the vehicle and had it towed to the nearest Jeep dealer. This is the 4th time the vehicle has broken down on the highway.

The vehicle, a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk presently has 80,000 miles. The vehicle has every option available including keyless entry and start. The problem is intermittent and has been for over 5 years. Occasionally I get a -??Key FOB not detected-?? message on the center screen, while one or sometime two key FOBs are in the vehicle. Sometimes it happens when I first enter the vehicle and try to start the engine. When this happens I must press the start button with the key FOB. Some time it happens while the engine is running and the key FOB is still in the vehicle, when either the driver-??s side door or the front passenger door is opened and closed. If I am stopped and someone opens and closes the front passenger side door, the message appears and regardless of the situation around the vehicle, I must shift the vehicle into park, turn off the engine and restart the engine by pressing the start button with the FOB. Sometimes I must unbuckle my seat belt so that I can retrieve the key FOB from a pocket. Years back while the vehicle was still under warranty the dealer insisted that the issue was key FOB battery related even though I had the same issue with both key FOBs with new batteries. I strongly believe the issue is software related. The vehicle has all the latest software updates installed. I have been thinking of trading-in or selling the vehicle but I am concern that this safety issue will have a negative effect on the value of my Jeep.

My entire car stalled on me WITHOUT WARNING in the middle of the road while driving and showed a -??put in park and then shift to desired gear-?? message. After multiple attempts it finally turned back on helping to get me into my driveway. If somebody would have been driving towards me I would have been hit. After this, I went on a test drive with no warning dash lights illuminated, my car wanted to stall and was sputtering awfully after about a mile. Dash lights illuminated with a check engine light, service transmission, my traction control turned on and my selected gear (drive) was blinking a (D) on my dash. It was driving very slow. The dealer i bought it from had it towed and they -??found-?? it was a -??loose battery connection-??. I do not believe this. After checking multiple forums and reviews for this EXACT problem I am now DEVASTATED and BEYOND SCARED to drive my Jeep. I have read multiple reviews of this happening with these exact vehicles on INTERSTATES. My safety and others was put at risk by my car stalling in the middle of the road. If i continue to drive this Jeep lives could potentially be put at risk if I am on busy roads and it stalls. No warning signs or lights appeared before this incident.

Myself - along with THOUSANDS are having the dreaded P0520 Code come on!!! There is a TSB (HAS BEEN ONE FOR 7 YEARS) for this problem! Yet, since it seems to fail right out of warranty - THOUSANDS are being affected. Previously-The 2014 Jeep Compass SUV is among the 522 vehicles recalled by Chrysler alongside the 2014 Jeep Patriot SUV, 2013 Dodge Avenger, and Chrysler 200, all of which are equipped with 2.4-liter engines that are touted to have engine oil pressure loss issues that may lead to sudden engine stall or failure BECAUSE OF THIS SAME OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ISSUE "! Yet No RECALL on 2014 models when the issue is so widely well known!? Problems --Large oil leak, could have gone on fire or seized the engine. Turns out the oil filter housing assemble was cracked which seems quite common in this make, mode and year. The oil filter housing is cracked and it is a known issue with my vehicle. One morning there was a large amount of oil under my vehicle. At this time there are so many open issues with this defected part that I am unable to get this part cause there are 5800 people in line before me waiting for this part. I am unsure where to start to have this recalled but I would like to move in the direction of having that done. Please help! I read online that there was a possible petition started for this very issue. I noticed fca extended the warranties for vehicles equipped with the 3. 6l penastar v6 but for my model they stopped in 2013. Approximately May 15th 2021 the Start/Stop button started to malfunction causing the vehicle to not go into park. I called the Jeep dealer to set an appointment and brought the vehicle in for repairs on 6/1/2021. The Service manager mentioned that there was a recall on Jeep Cherokee Models but I still had to pay to have it repaired. As I see it as a Safety concern by the NHSTA, I believe it should have been covered at no expense to me.

The contact's daughter owns a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated while driving various speeds, the accelerator pedal was depressed however, the vehicle stalled without warning. Additionally, shifting into reverse, the accelerator pedal was depressed and the vehicle stalled. The accelerator pedal was depressed several times and the vehicle lunged backwards and the rear bumper was scratched. The contact stated that several warning lights and false safety reading intermittently flashed on the instrument panel. The contact stated that his daughter had taken the vehicle to North star Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Fiat (7242 san pedro ave, san antonio, tx 78216) where the vehicle had been serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 19V447000 (power train) however, the failure persisted after the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed him that there were no further recalls on the vehicle. There was no further assistance provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.

The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.

The first complaint is when the car was overheating and it needed a new transmission which was covered under the power train warranty. The second was when the car would have difficulty accelerating, and the main incident was when I was on the freeway (westbound 80 in hercules, ca) and the car would not accelerate beyond 60 mph so I needed to exit and when I was able to safely park the car, it died on me and I had to have it towed to the dealership, costing me over $2500 in repair regardless of the fix a couple years ago. This most recent incident occurred when at a stop light (antioch, ca)the car started shaking about to the die and the screen read 'must place car in park.' After placing the car in park the car started up again, but at every stop the car would shake. Most recently (concord, ca) an alert came on the screen 'service shifter.' After doing my research I was informed that my car may have been a part of a recall affecting the engagement of the gears. Bringing it to the dealership I was told it was not part of the recall, but am still concerned about the vehicle shifting gears, or lack thereof. I have documentation of the repairs and complaints, but do not have access to them right now. If needed I can provide them.

The parking brake engaged by itselt and would not release. After towing the vehicle to a local mechanic (Jeep is an hour away), the mechanic said the module has a plastic covering that is not water proof and condensation caused the module to fail. We had to replace the plastic covering with a rubber covering that would keep water out of the module. The costs of this are going to be upward of $1000. I hope Jeep covers defective parts. Apparently there is a service bulletin on this issue but no recall

Vehicle shuts off with all lights flashing if I don't change oil before 2000 miles. This happened to me the first year I had the car and I was almost killed on the parkway. Burke auto said it was a software update. Then it happened four days later I was able to get it to the dealership right down the road that I live but couldn't go over 15 mph and it shut off twice in two miles. Then when I got the car there it happened to one of the technicians and scared the crap out of him and he said he wouldn't drive this car. But no one did nothing.. now today I almost was in a accident at the food store because the transmission wouldn't stop and then the whole car stopped. It was brought to burke auto group on stone harbor blvd. Cape may courthouse NJ as they told me today they can't get to it and it's going to cost $$$$ then they let me walk home in the rain. I have had Jeep before and they are great cars but this one is going to kill me. Please help with this matter sense I can't get no help here. The car is at burke motor group in cape may courthouse. There is a warning saying service shifter that stays lit up on my display at all times. I have had all of my recalls done but this warning light stays on and is a neusance. You can not see the digital speedometer nor anything digital for that matter. First noticed it a few weeks after I bought the car. As soon as you turn the car on the light just stays on. The recalls should have fixed this but it did not. Very beautiful car but having several issues with it that a lot of people are having same issues when researching the internet. Need this fixed asap. Cost too much money to have this many issues. Very disappointed and will issue a class action suite if no response. Also lift gate won't lock. But that's on another claim that I issued to you.

The lift gate latch will not lock. It is a safety concern because I'm having to drive it while the rear gate is not secured. My battery died because the warning light for the lift gate would not go off. When this first happened the car was running but in park. The lift gate was opened and never locked since.
