This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Jeep dealer.
Car stalls and completely shuts off. Told its gas and not to fill up gas tank. Not sure how this effects the transmission. Car jerks into gear or right before shutting off. Shakes, is loud. Does this with or without filling up the tank. Car had barely half a tank when I purchased it and it did it then. The very next day. I have an extended warranty. And I believe the power train warranty still applies but they won't fix the problem. Keeps saying its not pulling or storing codes. Engine light and service transmission light comes on and stays on. Not on the next next. Hard starts. Trans is slipping.

The car used to jerk when moving forward, turning, reverse and was not as responsive as it should be. There were grinding noises as well.
Once I accelerated a little hard, (not pedal to the metal hard) and i noticed that the shifter had moved from Drive to tiptronic mode, soon after that this problem started.

From day one this car has been back to the shop with transmission complaints. There have been a few software updates that have helped but they never solve all the problems. The latest issue that they can't seem to fix is a vibration that almost feels like a wobble when accelerating. The last time I had it at the Jeep dealer I told them there was something wrong with the transmission and the answer I got from the service advisor was "it's probably normal, those cars have crappy transmissions in them". Really?!?! that's the answer I get? I really hope enough people complain and something gets done about this.

Often, when accelerating, the car vibrates a bit. It isn't severe, but it is noticeable and makes the drive an uncomfortable one at best.

Jeep or the dealer can't get the vehicle to duplicate any issue I have 13 issues with my vehicle. Even though I have 4 statements from passengers and videos of the items I could replicate. JEEP SUCKS!

Took the vehicle in for 5000 mile oil change and advised of shifting issues. It has several. It vibrates going from 1st to 2nd starting off from a stop. Has failed to downshift leaving me out in an intersection in too high of a gear while making a turn. Does not downshift well slowing to a stop light and the light turns green before you stop. As the car tries to accelerate the RPMS goes way up, but the car does not move or slams into gear. Seems these problems are more frequent on very hot days too.
Jeep dealership reprogrammed trans. It has still not corrected the problem. Taking it in next week for another oil change and same transmission issue. Concerned of the vibration from 1st to 2nd and the failure to downshift properly. It has become dangerous at times.

Complained to the dealer. Had it in for service 4 times and it still has a shake in the steering wheel.

When I turn a corner car vibrates, sort of like a shimmy. Brought it to the dealer they told me they didn't feel anything and that the car drives "just how those car drives"

Vibration when accelerating from stand still position. Had axles replaced as dealer said there was a bulletin, and computer calibrated for shifting, but problem still exists.

A brand new car should not shake! Just fix it.
Shakes when changing from 2nd gear to 3rd gear.

Had no problems on the test drive. Within a time frame of a week or so, felt a wobble when starting from a stop and turning left from a stop. Once transmissions shifts into 3rd gear, everything is fine. Took back to dealer at around 300 miles and was told to put more miles on it to have the axles settle in place? At 2000 miles no change.
Have been calling the service manager monthly to see if there is a fix, nothing yet. He did confirm 5 other cases at the dealership with the same issue. I have decided to not have them replace anything as many have had no resolution with dealers changing parts. Will continue to follow-up with them to see if a fix is pending.

Where do I start....picked up my 2014 Cherokee and noticed a weird vibration when accelerating from a stop between 13-20 mph. Vehicle has been to 2 separate dealers a total of 6 times already, with visit #7 scheduled for next week. The axles have been replaced, problem not fixed. Software has been updated, problem not fixed. At this point Chrysler DOES NOT have a known fix for this issue.
What damage is this doing to me brand new vehicle that we paid over 33k for? And the fact that they do not know how to fix the problem is ridiculous. I get weekly calls from my STAR case rep, and the most recent one was telling me that my car is fixed, which it is not(!!!), and the case is being closed. I got right on the phone with them and told them they had better not close this case as the problem is nowhere near remedied. That is when my next appointment was made. Needless to say, they get 2 more attempts to fix this vehicle before I file for lemon law.

Jeep couldn't get a part for 2 month. A local repair shop found one at a junk yard. Took 2 weeks to have Jeep reprogram computer after it was fixed.
