The radio screen stopped working but will come back at times. When the screen goes blank, I can't do anything or adjust anything that would normally be on the screen. Very annoying and just one of many things about this vehicle that I hate. I have had more issues with this vehicle in the short time I have owned it. I can't imaging ever buying another Chrysler product again. Less than 4000 miles out of warranty and I am facing this issue. Never again will I buy another Jeep.

Radio quit working on January 30, 2017. Service center where I purchased it said it was an update from Sirius and to drive it for 4 days and it would fix itself. After a day I thought to myself that was the most stupid thing I've ever heard, so I returned. Second mechanic Justin, at the Larry Miller service department in Idaho said same thing, but I insisted that they need to look closer because that was wrong. After some whimpering he reluctantly agreed and found that it was shorted out and needs to be replaced.
They have ordered the part but now over +6 weeks later, still no radio. I've called constantly to check even following up calling the Jeep customer service center. Case manager Beverly said the dealers can't do anything. That was on February 20, 2017 and since then no radio. I have suggested that they get a new radio instead of waiting for the third party electronic maker to find a replacement, or to take one out of the other jeeps they haven't sold, or to give me a loaner jeep until its fixed. After a few weeks and dozen of calls I have a loaner car, but not the new car I purchased from jeep.
I have learned these things. (1) nobody at jeep ever returns phone calls. (2) local jeep dealers blame the national jeep suppliers while the jeep national center will blame the local dealers (3) only idiots continue to buy jeeps. I plan not to stay a idiot.

The radio died and the dealer removed it and ordered a new one over 2 months ago. Still waiting for a replacement. Jeep says that the radios are on back order. HOW CAN A LARGE COMPANY LIKE JEEP NOT HAVE ANY RADIOS? Have that many had to be replaced? No one at the dealership seems to care. All they can say is "waiting on the part". That may be true but this is not a good practice if Jeep wants repeat customers. TWO MONTHS for a radio and yesterday all they could say is be patient. Besides the radio this includes everything else on the screen - back up camera etc. that I paid extra for. $1700 for a blank screen. Are others having issues with the radio? Thanks

The touch screen on the radio that controls not only the radio but heater and A/C and back up camera stopped working. It kept turning off and on trying to reset. I expected a car just over two years old not to have something vital like this to go out so fast. Very disappointing.
