UNBELIEVABLE! Several times that week the car would just shift itself into park assist or neutral while driving, typically at low speeds. It then triggered a crash (into a column) and then the next day went even crazier .. saying the anti-tire slip wasn't working and the engine had a problem (on a serene summer like day!). Finally had it towed away altogether and today is the 12th day without it and still haven't heard a word back from the dealership (even after I left a follow up call message). This is Unacceptable vehicle performance/reliability or customer care thereafter. Uggh. Anyone know how I can break this lease without a world of trouble? (Thank God I leased versus my typical financing of a car!).

A few days after purchasing the Jeep we were driving about 55 mph down the Highway when the vehicle automatically went into park assist mode causing the transmission to shift to neutral. Luckily we were in an outside lane and could pull over because the car would not go back in drive. We had to turn the ignition off and restart the car to get it back in drive. What would've happened had we been in the middle of a busier road with no way to move to the side of the road? This is extremely dangerous! This problem is in addition to the electrical problems that have caused it to be in the dealership repair shop 3 times since purchasing less than one month ago! I'm beyond frustrated with this vehicle and am really regretting my decision to not purchase another Toyota product!
