THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 JEEP CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE REAR HATCH DOOR ERRONEOUSLY OPENED CAUSING THE DOG TO FALL OUT OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE HAD OCCURRED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER NEW SMYRNA BEACH JEEP LOCATED AT 2555 FL-44, NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL 32168 WHO WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 13,000. Consumer in addition loud noise, rattling and vibration coming from the engine while driving. Vehicle was taken to multiple service dealers.
