Cherokee Latitude 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 16,000 miles

Many times when I start the vehicle, the display screen repeatedly pops up the driving caution off and on and several times the screen goes blank. I have to turn it off and on several times. There has been times when just a part of the Jeep sign pops up and stays up. I have had to shut down the vehicle to correct the problem.

This thing doesn't disconnect when the vehicle is shut off, what the hell ! How could that ever be possible, there shouldn't be power after a vehicle is shut off, this is a Hazard.

The radio acts crazy. Volume adjusts on its own, changing stations and frequencies on its own. It also freezes. I've already had the unit replaced once.

Started having problems when i got this car, light jerking. Auto window will go down but not up. Later on down the line. Sometimes my usb would cut off. In December my car cut off and wouldnt cut back on. "Battery died" after only a year + of having this car. Got a new battery. Then came more issues. Worsing jerking, usb was cutting out more, fog lights would cut on and off, slow down it jerks, speed up it jerks and makes a click, was driving in A SCHOOL ZONE 20 MPH. and the rpm shot up to 5 or 6 and then went back down. Took it to the dealership i dont know how many times. Nothing wrong with it. They updated my cars usb and screen. MADE IT WORSE. now my screen glitches, cuts off, wont cut on when the car cuts on, usb cuts out more, jerking more, stopped at the gas station, car turned off didnt cut back on for 30 mins. Then turned back on. Bring it to the dealership NOTHINGS WRONG WITH IT. im staring to get scared of driving a car around that could just shut down whenever it feels like .

In short, my 2019 Jeep Cherokee has been in the shop 4 times for U Connect issues. Radio/Audio, Bluetooth was lost multiple times and I would have nothing. The last time it occurred I brought it to the dealer and the service Mgr witnessed it. However, when it got to the tech, it was not occurring. I opened a case with Jeep, got assigned a caseworker, and that was it. I tried to reach out to the case manager multiple times as did the service dept. They "said" it was going to a specialist, but no-one ever contacted the dealer OR me. After a week of this I "finally" got the Jeep back and traded out of it to a BMW. I understand from the dealer and the car rental folks U Connect is a major issue with all of these vehicles. Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler refuses to address this and the customer suffers. I was a long-time Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep person...but no more. Look at the other blogs and such, U-Connect (intermittent issues) are plaguing these products. I would look elsewhere
