Everytime I slowed down my Jeep would cut off. I figured out I could get it to restart in neutral as I'm finding somewhere to coast off road, but would have to put in park to shift back to drive. I made it to dealer and they said it very common problem and hopefully a recall will be soon because they dont know how to fix the problem. The problem seems to be the Jeep using oil and then the engine starts shutting down to protect further damage. They filled with oil and it ran fine.. the dealers temporary solution is to do a oil consumption test to turn into mopar. So I have to have them check the oil every 1000 miles. The first 1000 it used very little and they said go ahead and try another 1000 and come back. I made it to about 500 miles and now my Jeep will not start. Thankfully it is in my driveway and I didn't break down on the street again. I'm going to top off the oil and see if that does anything. I'm afraid of another problem because it's not making any noise when I try starting. Also, February 2019 I did get the recall fixed (power control module) from the dealer. So when I went back for this issue they told me I'd have to pay them $130 for them to even take a look. I was surprised to be treated like this with a brand new vehicle so I went to the dealer in the next county and they told me about the oil consumption problem and didn't charge me! another thing is the screen/instrument panel has went out a few times. Once the original dealer reset it, but it still goes out sometimes or it gets stuck on the dial/keypad screen. Bottom line: Now my 2019 Jeep is stuck in my driveway and there doesn't seem to be any solution.

Automatic transmission exhibits odd behavior from the day of delivery of this new car, Jeep service says nothing is wrong; clunking noise when lightly tapping the accelerator, rough shifting, when letting foot of the accelerator vehicle doesn't slow down and takes long time before it does, it feels like it is coasting instead of slowing when it finally downshifts it speeds up on its own and then slowly decelerates.

I was not able to start the car and it was towed to closest dealer. According to them the problem is fuel pump. And it is been 1 month already in dealer possession and still not fix it. Jeep doesn't have a part.

The vehicle was in motion on a county road traveling normally when it suddenly stalled out losing all power including steering. The instrument panel stated something like "must be in park to change gears" although no manual attempt had been made to do anything of the sort. This has happened twice. The Jeep dealer kept the vehicle for two weeks and has decided there is nothing wrong with it.

Jeep does not accelerate properly. Still has other issues stated in other complaint; grinding, lurching. This car is a fail. Filed a lemon claim that was ignored and am about to re file for all the other problems occurring. I can't use cruise control because the rpms get waaay too high for me to trust. The hills between payson AZ and show low AZ are too much for the computer to manage, I'm worried the engine will blow. Air bags did not deploy when I was rear ended. Now I know why. They are recalled. This is a death trap I am paying 32K for, and I am livid. I will never buy Jeep again.

The vehicle decides to reverse in park and in drive while operating the vehicle on the road. The shifting is hard calibration and chugs. The engine has stalled in the middle of driving and completely turned itself indefinitely off. While driving into the parking space the vehicle has numerously and spontaneously decided to reverse in park. The same has happened in drive. The auto engine shut off doesn't work properly as the computer gets confused as to which gear it is in when it starts up. The radio likes to turn itself once in a while so I'd say thats mechanical although the least of my worries. I recently experienced parking in my front yard.. the "D" starts blinking in drive and the vehicle starts indefinite reversing...... this SUV also has bad fuel efficiency getting 12 mile per gallon on freeway and road. Not safe.

My vehicle stalls upon acceleration Z I've been told it was bad gas as well as needing an oil change, but the problem continues. Consumer stated my current mileage is right at 15,000. I first noticed the stall issue shortly after purchasing the vehicle in July of 2018. I received a notice of a recall that could cause the vehicle to stall. It required reprogramming and that was done in October. I have noticed the stalling at various times since then. My last oil change was in April at just under 10,000. I go by the oil life indicator on my instrument panel and I had it changed when I had about 15% left on my oil life. There is not chime or warning that pops up when the stall happens. I am usually accelerating after having to slow down or stop. The rpms redline, but the vehicle feels like I am pushing the brakes. It will then "kick in" and accelerate at a high speed even if I'm barely pressing the gas pedal

As I have only had the car 3 days, I can't say what it 'used to' drive like. But more than a few times, I have been trying to accelerate from a stop, and the vehicle hesitates for a moment. Sometimes I have been trying to make a left turn across traffic, or cross a busy highway. Fortunately, I haven't been in any close calls yet, but I can definitely see how an accident could occur, if you push on the gas to make a turn and your car accelerates really slowly for the first 2 seconds. I will be taking my vehicle to the dealership on Monday to see what can be done about it.

While operating my 2019 Jeep Cherokee the vehicle has stalled while in motion on 3 occurrences. Each time it stalled the vehicle was unable to be restarted. It has had to be pushed out of traffic to a safer location and then taken back to the dealership. Multiple repairs have been made by the dealership to the fuel system with an assurance that the problem is resolved. The problem is still on going. This is a serious safety issue that occurs without warning in a moving or accelerating vehicle and will result in an accident. My family does not feel safe in this vehicle. The vehicle is < 60 days old and < 3000 miles.

For the third time, the vehicle has lost power at highway speed. It starts coasting and the motor runs but depressing the gas pedal has no effect. The last time it happened, we were on a curving mountain road and almost got run over by an 18 wheeler. Third time this has happened and the dealer has not been able to fix. This has to stop, brand new car stalling at highway speeds. Each time we were at highway speeds. Multiple lights come on the dashboard, see attached photo.

Less than 30 days of purchasing the car it completely shut down while I was driving in traffic. Battery light came on, car rolled to a stop and would not crank back up for a few minutes. This happened while driving at a speed of 55 - 60 mph. I called the dealership and they had me bring the car back in. Apparently this is a safety feature that happens when the oil is too low!!! they did not top off the oil when I purchased the car. However, this is not a safe thing for a vehicle to do. I could have been killed in atlanta traffic on these interstates. This is beyond dangerous and this " feature " was not disclosed at the time of purchase!

Ptu unit is defective. Dealership has had my vehicle for a week, only to call me to tell me to pick up vehicle and bring it back to them next week for a level 3 master mechanic to work on it. The vehicle was leaking on my driveway with a 3 foot puddle. I have had the vehicle for 3 months. I don't think it's safe to drive.
