This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Jeep dealer.
Motor is shot, this is awful. Dealer has no loaner, I've been having to rent a car costing me greatly. I am waiting to hear on a buy back, but nothing yet.
Corp Jeep is slow on follow up and this is our great America.
This is something that needs to be on a recall. I could have been killed if this suv would have stopped working in a busy road.
I want my buy back. This should be a class action suit. I'm looking into it today more research.

Jeep should recall all models with this engine - the oil is going somewhere.

My jeep is burning 1 quart of oil about every 1000-1500. The oil light does not alert me if oil is low. I have to add 3-4 quarts of oil in between oil changes.

I have to add 1 quart of oil, about every 800 to 1000 miles.

I brought a 2020 Jeep2/13/2020 with 24miles on it. Then at about 3500 mile it started burning oil. I have put in 3 quarts in 3 weeks. No links that I can see. The low oil pressure light flashed for a second when pushing gas paddle and went off. I have called dealer and they requested me to bring car in at 7 am and leave it for the day.
it's now making a ticking nose from engine.

Had oil changed at 50000mi. 0w-20 full synthetic Pennzoil. 54000mi and checked oil and it's 3.5 quarts low. Barely visible on the dip stick. I did not know this was a known issue at first. Apparently there is a software update that fixes the issue but it's not a recall so I would have to pay for a service diagnostic at $180, and they will likely say there is nothing wrong. This oil consumption is not normal.
