All of my safety warning lights flash on and off repeatedly. When this happens my car electrical things turn off including the ac, radio and everything else. The engine how ever did not. The car kept running but everything else stalled and turned off and on.. the first time was on the street but it continued even on the freeway going 60 mph. I took to dealer and they stated nothing is wrong. They could not find anythin. They even put in on the computer machine and nothing. I have only had vehicle for 2 months and im very worried. I have no other transportation and have to drive the vehicle to work and my kids around. I have a video of how the car kept doing that. If someone can contact me, I would be more than happy to send the vehicle video over.

I bought my Jeep Commander on the 14th of August and on the 23 and 24 and 28 of August it rained and now my floor is wet I had the car looked at on the 25 and they said my sun roof drain tube were completely block and the cleaned them out and yet I wake up today after it had rained over night and my drivers side floor was wet again. Im taking it in again to make sure its not my window and I called the dealer that sold it to me and he said to let him know how that turned out or he would get to the bottom of this problem for us. I hope he does or the Jeep is going back!!! I have been reading on the internet of thousands that have the same problem please make them do a recall. If mold begins to grow someone will get sick. My husband has an autoimmune disease and im sure mold wont be good for his health problems!!!! please make them fix the problems with these Jeep Commanders[xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Our Jeep doesn't stay in gear, to back up out of driveway must go from reverse to neutral several times to engage. Also will slip from drive to neutral while driving. There have been many, many, times that our Jeep doesn't know it is in park or neutral and will not start until you mess for along time with shifter. Contact was made with dealers in area and they state our VIN. Isn't part of recall. When driving our Jeep has put itself into neutral but shifter is in drive position... please help us..

For no reason the Jeep would just die, on the intrastate, in town, anywhere, just shut off, then after a hour or so it would start again. After being in the shop many weeks for this, the two computers were found to be the problem. Changed the computers, at the fee of almost $ 2000 and no more problems, which the money is nothing knowing my teenage daughter wont stall on the intrastate and be killed. Chrylser Corp can care less !!!!

This problem has been occurring since 2010. It first happened to my wife as she drove on I-75 the car just turned off on her and almost got rear ended by a car that was behind her. It has occurred at least 7 times since and recently much more than before where the same thing happens the car turns off and you lose complete control of everything, brakes, steering etc the car just floats for about two blocks and you are helpless until it stops. My wife contacted Chrysler this last time to complain about the issue and was told that our car was under investigation, that recalls were being done in September but that we would have to pay for the repairs and then get reimbursed.I personally don't think the consumer should pay for anything much less something that has already been discovered to be a manufacturing flaw.

I purchased this vehicle 2/15/14 three weeks later while driving on highway the gauges just came on and kept flashing it continued for the duration of my drive. Once I got to work and put it in park and turn it off and restarted it nothing happened. So 8.5 to 9 hrs later back on the highway it does it again this time just flashed 3 times. It was taking to a shop per finance company to which the mechanic kept for almost 2 weeks. The mechanic stated he could not find anything wrong with it. He needed to see it happen. So I took it back home the first week nothing happened. Second week nothing that third week it happened again this time while on highway on the way to work my speed dropped from 60 to 5 in less than a second. I pulled over and sat for 2 to 3 minutes an proceeded on with my cell phone ready to snap a picture if it happened again and low and be hold it does it again and this time it was continues until I turned off the vehicle once again it was taken to the shop with the proof he needed and again he stated he could not find anything wrong so he took it to Jeep Chrysler and had them reset everything and gave it back to me. For the next month nothing happened. But the following month once again the problem starts again. But this time it completely knocked out my radio. The finance company want help and I don't know what to do. Today is the 25th of July but two or three days ago there was a recall on 2006-2007 Jeep Commanders for faulty ignition switches. I really do not feel safe for me or my kids in this vehicle but noone seems to care. Not sure what to do about this problem but I truly hope you do.

Braking to approach a red light at an intersection the brakes felt mushy followed by complete loss of power. I was stopped in the inside lane of a 4-lane hwy at an intersection without power!. after a moment of panic....thank heavens no oncoming traffic behind me....I put the car into park and restarted the engine. I traveled two blocks to where I could safely exit the hwy and park. After a few minutes while I calmed down I proceeded to drive the vehicle to my home. Since that time I have tried to get the vehicle in for a check but cannot get an appointment until August. It has been a few days and I have no choice but to use the vehicle. I have noted some missing and hesitating from time to time but not complete failure. However, I would not take this vehicle on an open hwy as it is performing right now.

Electrical issue that is causing all dashboard lights to flicker on and off, heat/air goes on and off, audio center goes on and off all electrical functions go no and off. Dealership blamed my remote starter(which they. Installed) but turned out it wasn't and they have no idea what it is. Say they can't determine what it is unless it is happening when I bring it in. The interior door opening casing crumbles. Already had drivers door fixed because I couldn't open door from inside and was told all doors would eventually have to be done. Doors freeze due to poor drainage. Water collects inside door frame and running board, freezing all doors. If not for the remote starter, wouldn't be able to get in the car at all.
