problem #2

Commander V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 73,000 miles

The exterior and interior lights, dash lights etc. blink off and on. The engine appears to stay running, but having the lights go off at night is a real safety issue. It appears that this is fairly common complaint with other owners. Why has the manufacturer not recalled and fixed this issue? Most complaints report that parts are not available, why not?????? Also my local dealer/service provider wants $100 just to look at it.

Commander Limited 5.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

This car has been a pain in the ass ever since I bought it in 2007 its been one problem after another. The latest problem ive had is the wiring harness which will cost 5000 dollars to fix and the month before that I had to replace the radiator with many other smaller things. My first problem with the car was only a month after I got it the problem being was with the transmission it would not shift out of 3rd gear I forgot to mention every single one of my door handles is broke. Overall this car has been a NIGHTMARE & I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. JEEP CHRYSLER DODGE need to recompensate anyone who has bought one it is by far the most undependable viechle ive ever owned. It currently is sitting in my garage unable to be driven if I tried to trade it in I would get next to NOTHING on it because car dealerships are smart they want nothing to do with it I only wish I new then what I know now about this PEICE OF #$%!........
