seat belt chime defect

About six months ago, our driver side seat belt chime starting going off even if the buckle was clicked. We got it fixed at a Jeep dealership for $500 - ridiculous! Now the same problem is happening with our passenger side seat belt. I just don't see the point in spending another $500 to fix this when the seat belt is working properly.
