Three drivers in our family have experienced sudden shut-off of the vehicle while driving on city streets and the highway. We are not able to completely discontinue our use of the vehicle, but have been forced to use other transportation whenever possible out of fear that the vehicle will shut off while driving and cause an accident. We are not in a financial position to sell the vehicle, especially in its defective condition. I would not, in good conscience, be able to offer the vehicle for sale without disclosing the defect, and I would owe more on the outstanding loan than the amount for which I could sell it. This is outrageous that Jeep will not repair the vehicle.
