The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Compass. While driving the vehicle, the accelerator pedal failed to provide enough power. Additionally, the brake pedal traveled to the floor when depressed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure persisted and the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 120,000.
