Upon removal of the tire to replace the brake pads I discovered the axel nut and axel shaft are rusted beyond removal. Two of the nuts are about 1/3 rusted away and another about a 1/4. I contacted the Chysler Corporation and was told I wouldn't recieve any assistance with this problem. I was told that they had NEVER heard of this problem from anyone else. I would really like to know if there is anyone out there that has had this problem as I can't believe that this situation is unique to my vehicle. I feel this is a serious safety issue!
