Every time that it rains, I have water coming inside my car through the driver's and passenger's lights and sunroof control. The first time I had this problem, I took my car to the dealership and they told me that the problem is that the two "holes" where the water supposed to go out through, get stuck with debris. Well this is happening a lot and now every time that rains, I have water inside the cabin of the car and water running down the console, the radio, the AC controls, on the shift stick, everywhere!
For me there are two problems: One is the one the dealership told me about, where the drain holes get clogged with debris; The Other problem is the actual sunroof rubber seal. Either way, the problem is a bad design of both the seal that does not prevent the water to stay out of the car, and the drainage system that is not well design to prevent to get clogged.
I don not open the sunroof that often; and I don't go to the outdoors, I drive my car in the city. I cannot imagine the amount of water I would have inside my car otherwise!!

2008 Jeep Compass- Sunroof leaks- in the past- caused TWO computers that control the vehicle to short out and be replaced. still leaks. Blowing out, guide wire clean out never solved this problem.
Next the control arms and wheel bearings changed out- a few times for the bearings. Not sure what the deal is.
