My Jeep Compass Latitude is going through a lot of oil, but it isn't leaking it or any other reason to justify where the oil is going that I can tell, and I see that there is a law suit filed for the 2017-2020 models with the 2.4 L engines. But mine is a 2016 - could mine be included with those since it also has the 2.4 L engine? I have noticed that the check engine light is also coming on more now going around turns which I have to keep adding oil (and it isn't the cheap oil either), I tried putting the high dollar oil stop leak treatment in it but it isn't leaking so I didn't do that again because it would be a waste of money to keep trying that if I don't see a leak anywhere and since I don't know where the oil is actually going smh.

I just bought this Jeep a few months ago & the dealership already did over a thousand in repairs on it for several issues but I'm also still having issues with the oil & this is one of them that really concerns me because if it runs out of oil it could destroy the motor or if it gets as bad as the others do with stalling out too unfortunately, then it could also risk my 3 year old son that does a lot a riding with me since his father lives so far away from us. That is just unacceptable to me if it risks him because of these issues that need answers...
