Filling car at gas station and this time was standing along side the vehicle. Pump did not shut off (auto set) and gas spilled over vehicle until I grabbed hose and stopped the pump. Reported to gas station attendant who replied sorry, those are new pumps, never happened before. I happened to see a complaint about other Jeeps with this problem so am reporting my experience.

This happened twice at Sam’s Club pump at the pump furthest from the store.
PROBLEM MAY BE CERTAIN PUMP NOZZLES IT SEEMS SAMS CLUB MAY BE TRYING TO RATION ITS CHEAP GAS â›½ï¸ BY PUMP SHUTTING OFF BEFORE EVEN PUMPING 2 GALLONS OF GAS YOU HAVE TO KEEP ADJUSTING THE HANDLE AND SQUEEZING PUMP HANDLE THEN IT STOPS PUMPING AFTER 2 GALLONS AND WILL NOT LET YOU ADD ANY MORE.
This refusal of the Jeep to allow you to add gasoline ALSO HAPPENS WITH GAS CAN FILLING… GASS WILL SPILL OUT WHEN YOU USE GAS CAN TO FILL IT. this is MADDENING AND DANGEROUS BECAUSE IT CAN LEAVE A DRIVER STRANDED.
