While driving to have dinner the half shaft fell out and caused me to crash. Contacted Fiat of Manhattan who refused to address the issue had a NYS inspection done on July 10, 2018 where they did a complete inspection on the vehicle and over looked this safety issue. On Monday 0ctober 01, 2018 I contacted NHTSA and filed a complaint. Also contacted the number for the recall and they stated that my vin was not part of the recall but some will call you back. Corporate office was notified same answer the suggested that my insurance fix the problem. My vehicle is in storage and that was told that the police should have contact their roadside assistance and asked who will pay the storage fees no response.
