Consumer left the vehicle running with the shift lever in park, and when he turned around after hearing a noise, he saw that vehicle was rolling backwards.

Consumer states he put vehicle into park, exited to close the door, and as he was a few feet away there was a griding noise, consumer then turned around and saw the vehicle rolling back toward him, consumer was able to jump inside and stop the vehicle by applying the brakes.
