The fuel gage does not properly indicate the amount of fuel in the tank. The electrical system shorts frequently, locking and unlocking the doors, opening and shutting windows by itself. The alarm system also shorts frequently, doing the same thing.

The fire under the dashboard melted so many of the components that they have not yet been able to identify the source of the fire (as of 2/12/99). It is currently at southbay Jeep, torrance, ca 310/542-0900 ext 3051 pending action by my insurance company.
