The contact owns a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped with mastercraft glacier grip II tires, size: 235/75/R15 (na). While the vehicle was parked, the contact noticed bulges along the sidewall of the front and rear passenger side tires. The vehicle was taken to a tire dealer who confirmed the failure and diagnosed that the tires needed to be replaced. The tires were replaced, but the contact noticed that the rear driver side tire began developing bulges along the sidewall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle failure mileage was 175,000 and the tire failure mileage was 2,000.
