I came out to start me vehicle and the factory installed alarm system went off. I couldn't shut it off with the remote. Once it stopped I went to start it again and it set the alarm off again. The anti-theft system just kept going off. The Jeep would start for two seconds then shut off. I was stranded 65 miles away from home and missed work because of it. There is no way to shut it off manually to drive it. The only way to bypass it so you can at least drive it home, without spending bills on towing, is to short it out enough to start it.
I still can't drive it because now even though it starts. The driver's door is dead, windows don't work, all gauges are dead, all warning signs on the dash are on and the anti-theft system is still active. As far as I'm concerned, there should always be a way for the owner to disable the alarm/anti-theft system so they can keep driving it until they are able to get it to a dealer or mechanic who actually knows how to fix it because the dealership won't/doesn't know how to fix it and won't touch it without $400 to $500 to look at it and they can't promise that they can fix it. I will try to post a video or pictures.

I have replaced the cam and crank position sensors, and also the ignition coil pack. I have had the pcm tested and it is good, no problems found, but the jeep will not start before replacing all of that I would be driving along and jeep would just shut down at any rate of speed. This could cause an accident. I love my jeep but these problems are getting on my last nerve. I would appreciate any help to get this problem fixed - this is my only source of transportation at the moment. Please help.
