I got in the car to head to the store and my husband told me, "Hey wait! Your tail light is out." So I stopped and took the lens off and the bulb was fine. So I took it off and twisted the bulb a little and it worked again. On the way to the store I tried to turn right and when I put my signal light on the blinker on the dashboard was going nuts. So I knew the bulb wasn't working in the back because I could see the reflection of my front turn signal and it was certainly working. I got out and checked it and my bulb for the turn signal was fine too. So I took and twisted it around a few times and it didn't work and so I took the bulb out and put it back in and it worked great again.

I have had the same issues with the tail light and turn signal on the passenger side ONLY, Somedays the Brake light works and the Turn Signal doesn't. Then the Turn Signal works and the Brake light doesn't and then on bad days it doesn't work all together. It's an intermittent issue but definitely one that could cause an accident. I have done research on the issue and apparently could either be a wiring issue as in one of the wires is touching somewhere and it causes the bulbs to work intermittently and then I know from experience that the metal clips on the harnesses kinda slide out of place from time to time.

If it means anything since the last time I took the bulb out and put it back in it has worked great since October. Hopefully the next time I change it, it will only need a new bulb not a new tail light. I got hit by a deer recently and it cracked the light that I was having issues with and it still works. Gotta love Jeeps.
