transmission shifting? when you stand on it, it will not shift out of 2nd gear until you let off the accelerator. when going up a hill (or the Sunshine Bridge in Tampa Bay) with the cruise set at 65, the car will down shift to I think 2nd gear and the rpm's go to 4000 and it will lose power and slow down. Mountains are worse. The engine lite does not come on.
