This is bullshit!!!! My mother has the same year, make, model and had the same thing happen to her last year and it cost her big bucks...I don't have that kind of money to be putting into my vehicle..Right now i have it held up with cardboard..

Have a problem with your power windows? Contact Jeep Corporation at 1-800-853-1403 to file a complaint about this in hopes for a recall. Within one month three out of four windows in my Jeep stopped working suddenly. I've done some research on the internet regarding this and have found hundreds of stories from customers with the same problem. This is a very expensive fix and Jeep/Chrysler should be responsible for their faulty manufacturing. Please take a moment to file a complaint about these windows or any type of Jeep problem to 1-800-853-1403, it only takes a few moments of your time.

As of Aug 2005, 3 window regulators have broken, 2 in 2 weeks time. I found NUMEROUS complaints about multiple window regulator failures from other owners on the Internet.

I took my Jeep to the shop to get the window fixed and the guy there said they had just got done fixing the same issue on the same model of vehicle. He said that this is a common issue on this vehicle.

Today, I tried to roll up my front passenger side power window, and it wouldn't roll up. I had to disassemble the door panel and push up the window manually. The likely cause is the motor.

product to replace a "jeep only part"' , window won't even stay up with out motor and regulator. All jeep can say is "it's not under warranty"

Driver window failed. Typical. Long laundry list of problems with this jeep. Most disappointing is that when under warranty the answer from jeep service was always "can not duplicate the symptom" translation- "we do not want to fix any issue until your warranty expires and we can charge you for it!" One time I brought this jeep in because the lights were out on the instrument panel- car was under bumper to bumper warranty- service guy said "can not duplicate the problem" asked for the manager and he said the same. No lights on the dash. Black as night. they can't see the problem. I am convinced that jeep service personal are encouraged, if not required, to deny all claims that warranties will cover. Needless to say that once the warranty was up I would receive a list of issues that need "immediate attention" whenever my car was in for routine oil changes.
