I was with a few friends riding around, went to several car lots out of boredom to check out the other jeeps and stuff, car began to run VERY hot, check gages light came on, so I turned the car off, and then the car was making a bubbling sound. I opened the hood, (car still off), and my coolant was bubbling like a hot tub! It started to get dark and I was not staying at that car lot at night because there were creepy wooded areas around and I didn't like that one bit! So I said f*ck it guys lets just go across the road and if it stops running it stops running, so we went across the highway to Food Lion, a grocery store, parked, the book for my car said to keep the car running and turn the heat on, so I did. Car still went crazy, the lights and everything turned on and said "coolant level low" on my digital computer thing. I poured water down into the coolant and it still kept boiling and bubbling. I called my grandfather to come out there to help because he is pretty good on cars, we didnt know what to do except to drive my car home because I was NOT about to leave it out there over night. He drove my car while I drove his and we went home, he said on the way home the transmission over heat light came on, it was crazy. We were going to go on vacation in a few weeks, and we were going to take the jeep, so we got it "fixed and ready to go on the road", said the dealership, we left a few weeks later and we live in NC, and when we got to Atlanta GA, in traffic, the car ran hot again, LUCKILY we looked up and seen a Chrysler dodge jeep dealership, we drove it there and it had to have some type of sensor put in which costed in the end about $500 I think. I was not happy!!
