We bought this 2005 Grand Cherokee Limited new back in 2005 as a replacement for our Escape. Since then, I have encountered no significant problems, besides the cheap build quality.
Ours is fully loaded, and one of the nicest looking cars I have owned. However, the little plastic trim pieces are constantly falling off. Almost every time you open the console or dash, or anything in the vehicle, some little rubber button or something of that nature falls off.
If this car can not withstand everyday use, how can it handle off road? It's the little things like this that drive me crazy, as well as the recent "road rattle" coming from the headliner...
