Well they say third times a charm...or will it be death? the first incident happened when I was alone in the vehicle as I was making a left hand turn across traffic my Jeep just shut down leaving me powerless..by that I mean nothing no steering no breaks no nothing! thank the gods there was no oncoming traffic at the time. The second time was a bit more nerving as my 6 year old son and myself were on the highway keeping up with the 65-70 mph flow of cars, SUV's & tractor trailers when all of the sudden my engine power just slumbered off to a crawl. If I had been in one lane over and 3 seconds behind we would not be here today to tell this unsightly story! again thank the gods for looking over us or it would be another statistic on the road and another young child left without a mother (my daughter that wasn't with me at the time)so I ask how many must die or get injured before manufactures man up to their mistakes? the loss of money is nothing it can be replaced but lives can not!!!

A few weeks/months after the purchase of my Jeep about 2 years ago, I noticed that my cruise control had stopped working and the ABS light had come. I checked my fuses and relays and they were ok. Then a day or so later I was driving on the interstate and my check engine light and my brake lights came on. My Jeep then seemed to downshifted itself. It felt as if the transmission had locked up, it slowed to about 30mph and would not shift onto another gear. I pulled over killed the motor. After a few attempts to drive it, I turned the key over and noticed the break and engine lights were off so I attempted to drive home and was sucessfull. This started to happen more and more often. I noticed that it mainly happened when either I was running my ac or it was wet/raining outside. I then started researching Jeep problems and recalls. I came across the daminoncrysler recall no. 13. the recall had described the issue I was having, so I researched my VIN and it staled that the recall no. 13 has already been completed on Jeep. Now my Jeep is stuck in limp mode and will not reset. It will not shift and the ABS, brake and engine lights stay on. Is there a way to find out exactly what service did they did when it was recalled in 2005 (if any)? I dont know what to

Also got the recall for ignition issue but no parts available so have to be careful till then. Ignition recall is even stated to be a temporary fix. Electrical issues cause sever safety concern for customer safety. No warning when issue will happen. Replace parts stated by professional diagnostic and still have same electrical issues.

To this day my 4 wheel drive has not worked and the dealer that I took it to just said that this wasn't covered under the recall, I think they still got paid by doing nothing to it and now I get another recall for something I haven't had problems which then I'll take it in for them to do nothing to it and still get paid for fixing nothing, what I would really want is for them to fix my 4 wheel drive, I could never get it to work when I needed to use it in the snow, it would just keep sliding and would never change to 4 wheel drive, thank you.

Lights lit on dash, ABS, traction control, & service electrical brake system.replaced brakes & no change lights still lit up.got recall notice P41 in Sept, 2014 stating problem with ignition switch, & that the part is not available & will contact me when its available.it is now over a year later still nothing and is way beyond a reasonable of time for repair !!! after driving all winter without the traction control.now when I drive the vehicle when I turn it off it won't start & it wont start for 11/2 to 2 hours I am just stuck waiting & waiting! it is totally random sometimes it starts & sometimes it will only crank for a split second and then I am stuck, tried to jump it doesn't help at all makes no difference.also the headlights will flash off & on at times, as well as the dash lights.this is my only car so this is a major problem for me.have spoken with the dealer can't help parts not available.
