The contact owns a 2005 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at 35 mph, the vehicle began to shift automatically and swerved to the right while all the warning lights illuminated. The contact also stated that he experienced a power steering failure. In addition, the contact stated that the pulley wheel and alternator belt fractured. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 171,803.
