I will just be driving my vehicle on the highway and as I try to accelerate faster, the engine doesn't even recognize it. After slamming my foot into the pedal, it finally accelerates flooring my Jeep and almost rear ending the car in front of me. This is a very annoying problem but I haven't had the time to have it checked out yet.

when going steady on highway (60-70mph) and i try to accelerate faster, i push the pedal in and the engine doesn't respond at all. i have to keep pushing until the pedal's at the floor until it finally kicks in. and when it does, it floors it (so basically with my car now there is no steady acceleration on the highway if i'm going steady for a long time.) this problem is pretty annoying since i have a 5L V8 and when it floors it, it REALLY floors it. one time i almost hit the car in front of me. i haven't gotten this problem checked out yet because it just happened recently but i wanted to post it in case anyone had any advice or problems like this so the dealership didn't bulls**t me.

JGC would suddendly drain the battery. At the beginning we thought we left the lights one a night before and ignored it. Then the problem continued until it was too much to ignore. I did my research online and noticed that mostly all '05 JGC hace the same issue, the starter solenoid goes bad, the dashboard never perceived the problem so now this has left me with a parked car and a child that needs to wait until he can be picked up from school. Chrysler/Jeep really need to look into this and start a recall. It is causing me and many other JGC owners a lot of headaches.
