Air bag dash light came on and stays on after startup. I took the Jeep in to texan : Jeep at 18555 59 N humble, Texas 77338 to have it checked out on 9/03/16.they said it was not commuticating with the PCM and there was no recall for the airbag problem. So it was not repaired and the air bag light stays on. Instead they preformed 3 other saftey recalls they said the Jeep needed but air bag problem the would not fix.

In addition, the tire inflation indicator is on and we paid to have a new sensor installed. Light is still on-being told there is a malfunction. Have read other complaints filed which state both the airbag and tire sensor indicators have come on at the same time.

When starting ignition, wipers activate. While driving, headlights and instrument panel flash intermittently. When starting ignition and while driving, air conditioner blower shuts down, cuts out intermittently and blower, when operative, only works on high. Sometimes switching to off and restarting or hitting a bump activates blower. At one time opening and closing the glove compartment activated blower but not any longer. Passenger air bag lights continuously.

Air bag warning light first came on intermittently. At one time I could adjust the passenger seat and correct the problem. It now stays on all the time. I see that the 2004 model has a recall, and mine was manufactured in late 2004, but is not on the recall VIN list. I did not realize that this may mean the airbag is not functioning at all, but rather thought it was just an electrical problem. The 2005 model should have been included in this recall. This looks like a long standing problem with previous years models and obviously has not been corrected in the 2005 model.

Noticed the "pass air bag warning light" was staying on all the time. Then I received a P41 ignition switch recall. Took the car to a Chrysler dealer for ignition switch replacement. Air bag warning light still stays on after switch replacement. My reasoning is that the air bag warning light originally came on because the original ignition switch was faulty and caused damage to the air bag and/or it's sensor circuitry. Is there any recourse under this recall to rectify this air bag warning light problem with hopefully no cost to me.

My vehicle was driving fine, then all of the sudden I lost all lights, all ignition, A/C everything except the engine. I lost speedometer airbags. The car acted like it was shut off but the engine was still going. My ignition has had problems since August 2014 and I have been calling my dealer every week to find out about parts. The parts have taken longer than a reasonable time to become available. My car now lights up (every check engine, traction control, seatbelt, oil, airbag, every light on the dash) at least 3 times in a half hour period. Was told by the dealer it was due to a faulty ignition. My car will not pass California smog with the check engine light coming on multiple times in my trip anywhere. I was told September 11th they would have the parts available. Then it was moved to October 11th. Chrysler needs to Focus more on their customers safety and reliability of their vehicle. It should not take over a year to replace ignition.
