- the contact called regarding a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle vibrated and the rpms rose to 4, and will not come down. The contact took the vehicle to a Chrysler dealer, and was informed that the vehicle was involved in a recall. The torque converter was replaced. The contact stated the vehicle ran fine for a couple of days. The contact stated if she drove over 30 mph the vehicle vibrated and felt as though it was going to fall apart. On 1/31/07, the contact had the vehicle towed to the daimler Chrysler dealer because she did not feel safe driving the vehicle. The dealer has not yet looked at the vehicle. The contact has the repair invoice.

Took Jeep in before recall for transmission they replaced torque converter and still have the problem and still after 3 times not fixed yet now is smelling hot tach out when stopped and when going down highway but does not increase in speed.
