The contact owns a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The contact stated that the air conditioner fan malfunctioned and caused the resistor module harness to melt while driving 30 mph. The contact smelled smoke coming through the air conditioner vents and noticed that the connecters were burned. The contact was concerned about the safety risk involved since there were no related recalls. The defect for his year make and model could potentially cause a fire to occur. The failure mileage was 112,000.
