2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Consumer writes in regards to recall notice 14V-438. The dealer informed the consumer the parts were not available. Also, the front brake pads were replaced. However, the issue was still present.

I have wrecked this Jeep two times due to the brakes not functioning as the should in both instances the dash board lights and gauges all shut down prior too the accidents I have had numerous mechanics find nothing, problem still persists done all I can and I am basically going broke on a vehicle I still owe on. Can you please help before people start dying from unroadworthy vehicles.

Grand Cherokee

Driving 65 miles per hour on freeway. Engine stalled, and front dash lights went out. Power steering was off and brakes were off as well. Was able to maintain control of the vehicle and make my way to the shoulder. Once stopped, started up without an issue.
