The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle was a loaner from the dealer. While driving 60 mph, the contact struck a deer with the front of the vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. There were no warning indicator lights and the weather was not a factor. The driver sustained back injuries. The front grill, bumper, and front passenger side were dented and cracked. The hood is dented and there is some leaking and damage to the vehicle's undercarriage. The contact has a police report and pictures of the damage. The current and failure mileages were 2,900.
