There was a red lightning bulb that came out on my dash

Transfer case, suspension and ignition switch seems to be causing major issues after 105,000 miles and the "warranty" just ended just before all these issues started happening. When tried to start once the engine shuttered then turned off. Started up after that, but then it has issues wanting to accelerate and can feel the Jeep struggling at times to switch gears or whatever the transfer case may assist in. Also have noticed the suspension has start to rock.

While driving car develops wobble. Accelerating or putting car in neutral has no effect. I replaced front rotors, calipers and brake hoses to no avail.

Problem: Excessive vibration of front end first noticed when increasing up to speed entering 55 mph highway. I brought the Jeep to the Chrysler Jeep dealer where I bought it and they told me there was a front end issue and they needed to order parts for the repair. I was told I had to prepay for the parts, which I did. The parts ordered and replaced were; steering rack and both tie rods. These were replaced on 8/20/13. A few days later the same problem happened, excessive vibration while getting up to speed entering the highway. I immediately drove to the dealer, they test drove the vehicle and could not find the problem they asked me to keep an eye on it and the issue happened again. There were at the least two times I was asked to leave my Jeep with them so they could drive it for a few days. They claim the issue never arose. 2 years later and I am still having the same issue occasionally. It does not happen every day but when it does happen what alleviates it is if I stop on the shoulder of the highway and start again. The dealer does have the records of my numerous visits for the same issue and it has never been resolved.

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee experiencing intermittent violent wobbling instability when driven at speeds 30-mph & greater. Vehicle is never used off road. Jeep has been in shop 56-days cumulative since Aug 09, Jeep keeps saying parts are backordered. I picked up car two times after repairs & had to bring vehicle back to Jeep within a day both times because problem recurs. Dealer has charged for 3 separate repairs and problem is still not corrected. I paid for first repair a front end bushing out of pocket $220 to fix this wobble, which didn't resolve issue. My car insurance company then paid Jeep for a new drive shaft replacement $1,348 to fix the wobble, which didn't resolve issue. My car insurance company then paid Jeep $2,165 for a new transmission torque converter to fix the wobble and told Jeep they had to guarantee the repair or would need reimbursement. Jeep replaced torque converter and insurance paid them for repair. I had the car less than 24-hours and wobble occurred again at approximately 35 to 40-mph. Car is now back at Jeep service as of 10/05/13. I had bought this car new from Chrysler Jeep. It has always only been used for home private use. All replacement parts are Jeep parts. Even the tires when replaced are the same exact make and model that had came with the vehicle when it was first bought. Jeep last said before I picked up car after they replaced torque converter that they drove car 100 miles and didn't experience the wobble again. After I picked up car wobble occurred in less than 24-hours / under 30-miles of driving. When I brought it back Jeep was upset and said they didn't feel it before I picked it up and that they would have to reimburse my insurance if this wasn't fixed. Now what? the car is now back at Jeep since yesterday Oct 06. Yesterday was the first time they gave me a loaner car that I am using.

Received a recall notice for rear suspension lower control arms on June 28, 2012. Letter states "could cause a loss of vehicle control and cause a crash." Dealer is still unable to get my part due to backorder from Chrysler and restrictions on how many they are allowed to order. I was told the part may not be available for another 2-3 months. This is unacceptable and irresponsible. I may crash due to Chrysler's inability to provide a part that they tell me to replace. They need to step up and have the parts available for the dealers.

The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When the contact turns the steering wheel all the way to the right, the inside of the tire would rub against the stabilizer bar. He could hear a growling noise, which alerted him to the failure. The dealer could not find any failures; however, they advised him not to turn the steering wheel all the way. The contact believed that this could not be avoided. The manufacturer informed him to get his vehicle inspected again. He took the vehicle to another dealer and they stated that the front carriage was off center. The dealer adjusted the centering and realigned the front end. After a few days, he turned the wheel again and heard the growling noise. The current mileage was approximately 22,900 and failure mileage was approximately 20,000. Updated 12/11/08. The manufacturer told the dealer to replace the stabilizer bar. Updated 12/11/08.
