Regarding windshield clearing of 2002 Jeep and 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The driver side windshield wiper does not clear the center of the windshield. The dealer suggested that I replace the wiper, which I did without success. The area that does not clear is directly in line with the drivers view. The passenger side clears well. I contacted a company that replaces windshields and they told me that the problem is with the spring tension on the wiper arm. I did not yet replace the are thinking that a new arm would have the same spring tension. My daughters Jeep ( the 2002) has the same problem. How could this condition have existed for 5 years without correction" it would seem unlikely that these 2 cars are the only ones that have this problem. Do you have any record of this condition causing accidents"
