I had a built in factory remote starter. the convenience of such is during winter season wherein you can easily push the button and when its time to board the car it is completely warm inside and all the glass windows are clear from moisture. But the problem is, the fan doesn't turns on not until you open the door. everything is turned on inside like radio, rear defroster and even the heated seats except the front defroster for the windshield. It is annoying because i asked the dealership about the problem and their response is "it is the normal thing for the 2011 jeep grand cherokee" . I didn't accept the findings and instead challenged them about that issue. I told them to give me the best reason on why a car owner would like to have the remote starter in their vehicle.....and they just shook their heads and said that they are going to find a solution......I hope they will or otherwise, I will just have to ask them to take the remote starter off my vehicle and deduct the cost. to date, i am still waiting, and hopefully this weekend, when they install the radio (defective), they will find the solution.....and yes, if somebody has similar problem please let me know so we can work out for a solution.

Don't (but you can if you want) bother to call "Chrysler Canada".....they will only ask you to call the dealership......and that's exactly what happened to me.
