problem #3

Grand Cherokee Overland 5.7L

  • CVT transmission
  • 31,000 miles

The alarm will randomly go off while it sits in an area with no wind, animals or something to set the alarm off. Replaced fobs didn't fix the problem.

Grand Cherokee Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 46,000 miles

My 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is back in the shop again. The alarm goes off whenever it feels like; middle of the night, in the parking lot while I'm at work. The only way to stop it is with the key fob by hitting the unlock button then I have to go out and open the door or the remote starter won't work. Anybody having the same problem with the alarm???

Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,000 miles

When the vehicle is in the driveway parked and off, sometimes the alarm/horn will sound for no reason. I have to hit the panic button, the alarm button, for it to stop.
